Overview

On 2 July 2026, Rtn Amit Sajjankumar Gupta was installed as the President of the Rotary Club of Bombay Pier for Rotary Year 2026–27, along with his Board of Directors, at Royal Halls, NSCI. The ceremony was attended by District Governor Rtn Rajan Dua and several Rotary dignitaries, members, and guests. Outgoing President Rtn Noopur Desai highlighted the Club's outstanding achievements in 2025–26, including 35 CSR India Grant projects, a contribution of US$3.67 million to The Rotary Foundation, and the Inspire Super Achievers Award. In his inaugural address, President Amit shared his vision focused on service, sustainability, and legacy, which includes MMUs (Wada & Mumbai), Pediatric Heart Surgeries, PICU/NICU Support, Wada & Dharavi Schools, 80-bed Old Age Home at Karjat, adoption of 2 gardens, “Thuko Mat Mumbai” Campaign, Modernization of Police Stations, Rotary Blood Bank and Blood Collection Vans and National Integration Project at Machhal.
